Job Title: Human Resources Director

Overview:

A leading hospitality group specializing in elevated Lebanese cuisine is seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee HR operations across two restaurant locations. This is a standalone leadership role responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is comfortable working autonomously while resolving complex HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team
  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives

Talent Acquisition & Performance Management

  • Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to attract and retain top talent
  • Implement onboarding and training programs
  • Manage performance evaluation systems to support employee growth

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Develop engagement initiatives to enhance retention and morale

Compliance & Policy Development

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee employee records and HR documentation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage compensation and benefits programs
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and oversee annual review processes
  • Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries

HR Operations

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll and HRIS management
  • Develop and maintain HR Standard Operating Procedures
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Hospitality or restaurant industry experience required
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience implementing HRIS systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • $120,000–$140,000 base salary + bonus
