Overview:
A leading hospitality group specializing in elevated Lebanese cuisine is seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee HR operations across two restaurant locations. This is a standalone leadership role responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is comfortable working autonomously while resolving complex HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team
- Lead organizational development and change management initiatives
Talent Acquisition & Performance Management
- Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to attract and retain top talent
- Implement onboarding and training programs
- Manage performance evaluation systems to support employee growth
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively
- Develop engagement initiatives to enhance retention and morale
Compliance & Policy Development
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Oversee employee records and HR documentation
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage compensation and benefits programs
- Conduct salary benchmarking and oversee annual review processes
- Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries
HR Operations
- Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll and HRIS management
- Develop and maintain HR Standard Operating Procedures
- Track and analyze HR metrics to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Hospitality or restaurant industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience implementing HRIS systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000–$140,000 base salary + bonus
