GENERAL MANAGER - FRENCH BISTRO


We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations

of a French bistro located in South Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in a highly seasonal

location. The ideal candidate will oversee front-of-house and back-of-house performance, deliver

exceptional guest experiences, manage staff development, control costs, and maintain high

standards of food quality, service, and ambiance.

Key Responsibilities:

 Manage daily restaurant operations and service standards

 Lead, train, and motivate staff teams

 Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns

 Monitor labor, inventory, and operating costs

 Coordinate with kitchen leadership on menu execution and quality

 Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations

 Support hiring, scheduling, payroll, and performance management

 Drive sales growth and local marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

 Previous restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale or French dining

 Strong leadership and communication skills

 Knowledge of food, wine, and hospitality service standards

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule

 Strong organizational and financial management abilities
