General Manager
GENERAL MANAGER - FRENCH BISTRO
We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations
of a French bistro located in South Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in a highly seasonal
location. The ideal candidate will oversee front-of-house and back-of-house performance, deliver
exceptional guest experiences, manage staff development, control costs, and maintain high
standards of food quality, service, and ambiance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily restaurant operations and service standards
Lead, train, and motivate staff teams
Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns
Monitor labor, inventory, and operating costs
Coordinate with kitchen leadership on menu execution and quality
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Support hiring, scheduling, payroll, and performance management
Drive sales growth and local marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale or French dining
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food, wine, and hospitality service standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule
Strong organizational and financial management abilities
