About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a high-volume upscale dining establishment. The General Manager will play a critical role in defining and refining service standards, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring the restaurant’s operational success. This position requires a strong partnership with the Executive Chef to align on strategic and fiscal decisions while upholding a unified approach to initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify the restaurant's core values by maintaining service standards, product quality, and cleanliness while ensuring the operation runs smoothly.
- Perform administrative tasks, including financial reporting, scheduling, and facilities maintenance.
- Analyze monthly P&L statements, report performance insights, and develop strategies for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial, payroll, and personnel-related duties in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and the Director of Operations on staffing and talent acquisition efforts.
- Lead training initiatives for new restaurant service protocols, ensuring consistent guest satisfaction.
- Engage with guests during service, addressing concerns and cultivating relationships to foster loyalty.
- Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Strategy, and Operations teams to drive revenue.
- Provide coaching and development for FOH managers and staff, conducting performance reviews and setting clear expectations.
- Oversee daily reservations and assist with private event inquiries and execution, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Drive guest recovery efforts, managing online feedback, addressing complaints, and ensuring immediate resolution.
- Lead by example, upholding and executing all service standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2+ years of General Manager experience experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining establishment in NYC.
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification.
- Familiarity with operational tools like Micros, Tripleseat, Resy, and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively resolve guest conflicts.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a team-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to expand and enhance beverage programs, offering innovative contributions to the menu.
- Track record of training team members in service and beverage knowledge for professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 annually
