From its beginnings as a boutique NYC agency, One Haus has grown into a national and global hospitality recruitment firm, with recruiter presence in Madrid, Montreal, Connecticut, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Tampa, and Idaho. 

Our Leadership and Team

Founded and led by Mike Hewitt, President and CEO, One Haus is built on over 30 years of experience in hospitality operations, brand development, consulting, and recruiting. Mike’s vision has always been to create a recruitment firm that understands the industry from the inside out.

Working alongside Mike is Agatha Drake, President of parent company One Haus and Co-Founder & CEO of One Haus Executive. Agatha has been instrumental in building the infrastructure, systems, and policies that allow the team to deliver personalized recruitment solutions at every level – from front-of-house hospitality roles placed by One Haus recruiters, to C-suite and VP-level placements through One Haus Executive.

Our success is driven by a team of hospitality recruitment specialists who bring firsthand knowledge, empathy, and dedication to every placement. From sourcing top talent to supporting candidates and clients, the One Haus team ensures that every connection is meaningful and aligned with our shared values.

10 Things We’re Proud of Over 10 Years

  1. Our First Client: Out of the gate, we helped the Japanese restaurant group Plan Do See open Paley restaurant in Los Angeles and Neuehouse members clubs in New York City. This work happened lightning-fast, in just five months. From there, Mike traveled to Japan with Plan Do See to check out their operations across six cities. This set up the beginning of a long-term relationship and gave One Haus the foundation for how to work with and retain high caliber clients over time.
