About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Events Manager to lead group dining, private events, and restaurant buyout sales across three restaurant concepts. This individual will be responsible for driving new business, developing strategic partnerships, managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring a seamless transition from initial inquiry through event execution.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated hospitality sales professional with a proven track record of growing private dining and events revenue. This is a hands-on role requiring strong relationship-building skills, business development experience, financial acumen, and the ability to work closely with restaurant operations and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all inquiries, proposals, contracts, and sales opportunities related to group dining, private events, and restaurant buyouts across three restaurant concepts.
  • Proactively generate new business through lead generation, networking, outside sales, relationship development, industry outreach, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, event professionals, and other community and industry partners.
  • Prepare and negotiate event proposals, contracts, and agreements while ensuring all details are accurately documented in TripleSeat and OpenTable.
  • Manage the event sales process from initial inquiry through completion, ensuring client expectations and operational requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Conduct client meetings and provide on-site event support when necessary to ensure exceptional execution and guest experiences.
  • Lead weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings with management and operations teams to review upcoming events, staffing requirements, menus, logistics, and other operational needs.
  • Monitor sales performance and assist with forecasting revenue across group dining, private events, and related marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed monthly pace reports tracking bookings, sales performance, pipeline activity, and business trends.
  • Partner with restaurant leadership and marketing teams to develop and execute initiatives that increase event revenue, guest engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Develop a quarterly 30/60/90-day marketing and sales plan designed to increase private events revenue and strengthen the overall sales pipeline.
  • Establish weekly, monthly, and annual sales projections and communicate current sales trends and performance against goals.
  • Cost and structure menu packages appropriately to ensure strong margins while remaining competitive and attractive to clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years of food & beverage sales experience.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and generating new business within hospitality, restaurants, events, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of private dining, group sales, catering, events, and restaurant buyouts.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, network, build relationships, and convert leads into revenue.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to cost menu packages and understand event profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales projections, pace reports, and revenue forecasts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and restaurant operations teams.
  • Experience with TripleSeat and OpenTable preferred.
