Multi-Unit Operations Manager | Growing Restaurant Group | Denver, CO
Title: Multi-Unit Operations Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: $90,000–$105,000 + bonus
Schedule: Full-time | Primarily restaurant-based | Nights, weekends & holidays as needed
Benefits: Competitive benefits package
We’re looking for a hands-on Multi-Unit Operations Manager to support and develop General Managers across a growing restaurant group.
This is a highly visible, field-based leadership role focused on strengthening restaurant operations, developing managers, reinforcing standards, and driving consistent execution across multiple locations.
You’ll work directly alongside GMs and restaurant leadership teams, providing real-time coaching and accountability while helping implement systems, training programs, service standards, and company initiatives.
A major part of the role will also be supporting new restaurant openings, from hiring and training through mock service, opening execution, and post-opening stabilization. When needed, you may temporarily step into an opening GM role to help establish the team and operation.
This is not a desk-based leadership position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being in the restaurants, working with teams, solving problems, and turning expectations into consistent execution.
What You’ll Own:
- Coach, develop, and hold General Managers accountable to operational and hospitality standards
- Conduct regular restaurant visits and one-on-ones with GMs
- Identify leadership gaps and develop future GMs and management talent
- Reinforce standards for service, hospitality, food, beverage, cleanliness, sanitation, and guest experience
- Ensure training, manager meetings, pre-shifts, and operating systems are consistently executed
- Review sales, labor, COGS, guest feedback, and other performance metrics with GMs
- Support action plans for underperforming restaurants or managers
- Lead implementation of new systems, menus, promotions, training programs, and operational initiatives
- Partner with Culinary, Marketing, and Operations leadership on cross-functional rollouts
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, mock services, soft openings, and grand openings
- Help establish opening culture, systems, and leadership standards from day one
- Provide hands-on restaurant coverage during leadership transitions, staffing gaps, high-volume periods, and business needs
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong restaurant operations background with experience leading managers and teams
- Previous General Manager or multi-unit leadership experience
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders accountable
- New restaurant opening experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable leading both FOH and BOH operations
- Strong understanding of hospitality, service standards, guest recovery, labor, COGS, and restaurant financials
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple restaurants, priorities, personalities, and initiatives
- Comfortable working directly on the restaurant floor during active service
- Familiarity with restaurant technology and operating systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, openings, and peak business periods
Why You’ll Love This Role:
This is an opportunity to have a real impact across multiple restaurants, rather than simply overseeing a scorecard from a distance.
You’ll have a direct hand in developing GMs, strengthening restaurant teams, improving operational consistency, and helping launch new locations. The right person will have the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding hospitality organization while working closely with executive leadership.
If you’re a strong restaurant leader who gets energy from developing people, improving operations, and being where the action is, we’d love to hear from you.
