A growing, chef-driven hospitality group is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead local marketing efforts for a high-profile restaurant opening in Midtown Manhattan.

This is an on-the-ground role for someone who genuinely understands the New York market and knows how to build awareness, drive traffic, and create culturally relevant brand moments. The Marketing Manager will work closely with senior marketing leadership and restaurant operations to bring the brand to life across digital, social media, content, events, partnerships, and in-market activations.

The right person will be highly connected to the city, energized by restaurants and hospitality, and equally comfortable developing strategy, creating content, attending events, managing agency partners, and working alongside the restaurant team.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies that grow brand awareness, drive traffic, and support overall business goals
  • Partner with marketing leadership and restaurant operations to create and execute market-specific campaigns and programming
  • Manage brand initiatives across social media, public relations, digital advertising, CRM, email, text marketing, and other channels
  • Collaborate with creative, social, PR, digital, and agency partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget
  • Create and manage an editorial social media calendar
  • Capture and edit original photo and video content for social and digital platforms
  • Coordinate and execute photoshoots and other content needs
  • Develop engaging written, visual, and video content that reflects the brand and connects with the local market
  • Manage paid media partners and help optimize campaigns based on performance and restaurant goals
  • Utilize CRM tools for email marketing, text marketing, segmentation, remarketing, and analytics
  • Analyze campaign performance, engagement, and revenue impact and make recommendations based on results
  • Support A/B testing and other strategies to continually improve campaign performance
  • Identify relevant cultural moments, partnerships, events, influencers, and opportunities within the New York market
  • Coordinate and promote in-house and off-site marketing events and activations
  • Represent the marketing team at restaurant and operational meetings
  • Maintain a strong pulse on hospitality, lifestyle, and cultural trends
  • Support special projects and broader marketing initiatives as needed

Who You Are

You are a creative marketer who also understands that great hospitality marketing needs to drive business. You know New York, pay attention to what is happening in restaurants, culture, events, and nightlife, and understand how to translate those insights into meaningful brand experiences.

You should bring:

  • 4+ years of progressive marketing experience
  • Restaurant marketing experience, either directly with a restaurant/hospitality group or through an agency
  • Strong personal and professional knowledge of the New York market
  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Strong social media and content creation skills, including photo and video
  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Experience with CRM platforms, email marketing, digital advertising, and analytics
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, calendars, events, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and using data to improve results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense of brand voice and storytelling
  • A creative, strategic, and analytical approach
  • A hands-on, proactive working style
  • The ability to collaborate across departments while also working independently
  • A genuine passion for restaurants, hospitality, guest experience, and creating culturally relevant brand moments
  • Experience within upscale, multi unit restaurant group is strongly preferred.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to play an integral role in launching an established hospitality concept into the New York market and have a real hand in shaping its local identity.

The Marketing Manager will have significant ownership of how the brand shows up in the city — from its digital presence and content to events, partnerships, community relationships, and the overall guest experience. For someone who loves hospitality and wants to be out in the market building a brand rather than simply marketing one from behind a desk, there is a lot of room to make an impact.

Schedule & Location

This is a New York-based, hybrid role with a strong in-market component. The Marketing Manager will spend meaningful time onsite at the restaurant and out in the market, with flexibility to work remotely when appropriate. Some evenings and weekends will be required around events, activations, and business needs.

There will also be some initial training in Chicago.
