Job Title: Lobby Bar General Manager

Job Summary:

The Lobby Bar General Manager oversees daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, revenue growth, and adherence to luxury hospitality standards. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, this role enhances guest experiences while maintaining brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Program Management

  • Develop and manage wine, spirits, and cocktail programs.
  • Create seasonal beverage menus and maintain premium supplier relationships.
  • Ensure optimal pricing, inventory control, and beverage quality.
  • Conduct market analysis and implement trending offerings.

Operations & Service Excellence

  • Oversee daily bar operations and service execution.
  • Maintain high service standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to enhance dining experiences.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Hire, train, and mentor bartenders, mixologists, and sommeliers.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge and service excellence.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality and professional growth.

Financial & Revenue Management

  • Develop budgets, monitor costs, and implement revenue-enhancing strategies.
  • Conduct sales analysis, inventory reports, and loss prevention measures.
  • Forecast demand and adjust purchasing accordingly.

Marketing & Guest Engagement

  • Promote beverage programs and special events in collaboration with marketing.
  • Design and execute tasting events, mixology classes, and private event packages.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining strong guest and industry relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in luxury bar, restaurant, or hotel F&B operations.
  • Expertise in fine dining, mixology, and beverage program management.
  • Strong financial acumen and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.

Certifications & Physical Requirements:

  • Florida Food Manager & Alcohol Compliance Certifications preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
