Job Summary:
The Lobby Bar General Manager oversees daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, revenue growth, and adherence to luxury hospitality standards. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, this role enhances guest experiences while maintaining brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Beverage Program Management
- Develop and manage wine, spirits, and cocktail programs.
- Create seasonal beverage menus and maintain premium supplier relationships.
- Ensure optimal pricing, inventory control, and beverage quality.
- Conduct market analysis and implement trending offerings.
Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee daily bar operations and service execution.
- Maintain high service standards and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to enhance dining experiences.
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, train, and mentor bartenders, mixologists, and sommeliers.
- Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge and service excellence.
- Foster a culture of hospitality and professional growth.
Financial & Revenue Management
- Develop budgets, monitor costs, and implement revenue-enhancing strategies.
- Conduct sales analysis, inventory reports, and loss prevention measures.
- Forecast demand and adjust purchasing accordingly.
Marketing & Guest Engagement
- Promote beverage programs and special events in collaboration with marketing.
- Design and execute tasting events, mixology classes, and private event packages.
- Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining strong guest and industry relationships.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of leadership experience in luxury bar, restaurant, or hotel F&B operations.
- Expertise in fine dining, mixology, and beverage program management.
- Strong financial acumen and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
Certifications & Physical Requirements:
- Florida Food Manager & Alcohol Compliance Certifications preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
