Position: Director of Sales
Reports to: Managing Director
Overview:
Seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead revenue growth and market expansion for a luxury hotel property in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with financial goals.
- Prepare and manage the annual sales budget and monthly forecasts.
- Lead and mentor the Sales team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
- Collaborate with operations, F&B, and membership teams for cohesive property performance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
- Partner with leadership on commercial strategy and revenue alignment.
- Oversee sales contracts, ensuring compliance and revenue optimization.
- Analyze sales performance and adjust based on data-driven insights.
- Conduct sales meetings, manage lead pipeline, and monitor conversions.
- Organize and participate in site tours, tradeshows, and sales trips.
- Ensure cost control and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a luxury hotel sales leadership role.
- Strong background in transient sales preferred.
- Proficient in hotel systems (Opera PMS, Tripleseat) and analytics tools (STR, Agency360).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven record of exceeding sales goals.
