Position Overview
As the Director of Operations, you will oversee all operational aspects of our high-energy restaurant and nightlife venue. Your role will focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our service, maintaining the highest standards of guest experience, and scaling our operations through meticulous process development and rigorous management of our management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Streamline operations to ensure seamless integration of dining and nightlife elements. Develop and enforce SOPs that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a team of managers across different departments, including dining, bar, and event management. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- System Implementation: Design, implement, and monitor management systems that support scalable operations. Focus on creating a structured environment where decisions are based on data-driven insights.
- Quality Control: Maintain impeccable standards across all operations. Regularly review and enhance processes to ensure alignment with our brand’s reputation for luxury and exclusivity.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Implement cost-control measures without compromising on quality or guest experience.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local laws and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and alcohol service. Maintain an environment that is safe for both guests and staff.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with ownership and other key stakeholders to align operational goals with overall business objectives. Provide regular reports on operational performance and strategic recommendations.
- Guest Experience Management: Enhance guest satisfaction and oversee the resolution of any issues that arise during service. Ensure the guest experience is in line with the brand’s high standards and unique market positioning.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or nightlife venue, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record of managing managers and leading large teams.
- Strong foundation in creating and implementing systems and processes that promote scalability and efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of budget management and profitability optimization.
