Creatively driven and strategically minded, the Director of Marketing is responsible for ensuring every touchpoint feels thoughtful, elevated, and never predictable, while maintaining a clear focus on performance and the business objectives behind every initiative.


This role owns marketing execution across a portfolio of distinctive hospitality concepts, including exciting new concepts to come. The Director will translate established business and marketing priorities into strategic plans, creative direction, advertising initiatives, compelling brand storytelling, and one-of-a-kind partnerships.


The Director will lead and develop the creative team, set priorities across an integrated marketing calendar, and work closely with Operations, Events, Design, and senior leadership to bring ideas to life.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Marketing & Brand:

  • Translate established business, revenue, and marketing priorities into quarterly plans.
  • Establish and maintain brand standards across all guest-facing channels.
  • Bring complete confidence in creativity. Think big, embrace unexpected ideas and creative challenges, and encourage collaborative thinking.
  • Ensure each concept maintains its individual identity while supporting the broader vision and objectives of the organization.

Creative & Team Management

  • Lead and develop the creative team by establishing priorities and expectations and providing ongoing direction and feedback.
  • Lead creative direction and execution across major marketing assets and campaigns, bringing strategic and creative judgment to campaign development.
  • Review and approve creative work, ensuring it reflects established brand positioning and standards prior to final leadership approval.
  • Coordinate marketing execution across Events, Sales, Advertising, PR, Operations, and other cross-functional partners.

Advertising & Media

  • Lead paid media and advertising planning and execution across all concepts while continuously optimizing against revenue and performance goals.
  • Manage key third-party delivery, advertising, and channel partnerships.
  • Monitor and optimize conversion performance, attribution, and ROAS, using results to improve campaign effectiveness and inform future execution.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging advertising platforms, media opportunities, partnerships, and channels with the potential to drive increased growth.
  • Partner with PR agencies and internal stakeholders to execute creator relationships, hosted experiences, media opportunities, and other PR initiatives.

Performance & Operations

  • Track, analyze, and report marketing and campaign performance against established KPIs.
  • Translate performance data and consumer insights into actionable recommendations that inform future campaigns, channels, and creative.
  • Manage the approved marketing budget, monitoring spend and ensuring resources are deployed effectively.
  • Own strategic priorities for the integrated marketing calendar across concepts, ensuring resources and initiatives align with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Keep the organization creative and competitive by staying current on the latest marketing and hospitality trends, tools, technology, and consumer behaviors.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience at the Director level or equivalent, ideally within luxury, lifestyle, boutique hospitality, restaurants, or other creatively driven brands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency with marketing, creative, project management, and collaboration platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, social media, paid media, and evolving search and discovery platforms.
  • Ability to interpret marketing performance, consumer insights, and campaign results.
  • Strong creative judgment, brand sensibility, keen attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate social situations with composure.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work outside traditional hours when needed for events, partnerships, and occasional travel.
  • A sense of humor.
