Ultra high net worth private client is seeking an HR and Operations guru to oversee full operation of seven estates across the United States.  This role will oversee, manage and develop all estate managers as well as service staff and personal assistants. The ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles, have extensive luxury hotel management and/or private estate experience with "6 star service standards," SHRM and/or PHR certification and be available to travel up to 50% of the time.

The VP of HR & Operations will report directly to the Principal.

Relocation assistance is negotiable for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

•  Responsible for the overall performance of the properties operations
•  Executes the training of all teammates as it relates to company standards
•  Be responsible for maintaining compliance and up to date on new initiatives for the company
•  Be aware of and in compliance of all local and state laws
•  Maintain positive relationships with staff, Estate Managers and guests
•  Support and inspect for safety and security standards are being maintained
•  Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Previous luxury hotel management experience required
•  HR experience is highly favored but not required
•  Bachelor’s degree required
• Bilingual a plus.
•  Candidates must possess the skills and experience to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service
•  Have a proven track record of meeting budgets and cost controls
•  Excellent communication and problem solving skills
•  Development of leadership and hourly staff
•  Maintain a high quality product
•  Ensure that group policies and standards are followed
•  Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
