Sous Chef Washington, D.C.
Salary: $50000 – $65000
Upscale casual, high volume restaurant group seeks Sous Chef for DC location. Ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in the kitchen with detailed execution and have proven job longevity in previous roles. Must uphold the highest standards of food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of guests and team members. Will oversee and ensure all company systems and policies are followed, as well as maintaining quality and teaching and upholding company core values.
This is an expanding group with locations in DC, NYC and Chicago. It’s an excellent opportunity to grow within a company.
- Minimum 2 years as sous chef of high volume, full service restaurants
- Good understanding of local cuisine, purveyors/farmers and vendors
- Food handlers certificate
