Salary: $75000 – $80000
Acclaimed Michelin Star Steakhouse in the heart of San Francisco is seeking a passionate, driven and experienced Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will have varied experience including Michelin or equivalent and be clearly passionate about food and beverage, people and hospitality. You perform well under pressure and have an insatiable desire to learn. This position reports directly to the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine. Candidate would assist to oversee all aspects of the kitchen and back of the house operations, including the development and execution of daily changing tasting menus, kitchen/staff management, operational and financial effectiveness. Candidate must be well versed in Michelin level cuisine and currently be working as a Sous Chef. Individual must be highly motivated, possess strong organizational skills and leadership qualities with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of restaurant personnel.
