Salary: $55000 – $65000
A young, exciting restaurant group opening their flagship in Santa Monica is looking for Sous Chefs with a strong background in food-focused, fast casual operations. Leadership skills including managing, coaching, and motivating a team are essential. Strong recipe execution as well as proven ability to train and develop line cooks is a must! MUST also have working knowledge of administrative skills including costing, inventory, scheduling, and labor cost control. Prior Latin cuisine and wood fire oven experience is a very big plus.
- Minimum 3 years’ of full service culinary experience
- Good understanding of modern culinary techniques
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Prior experience creating s.o.p.’s
- Friendly, energetic disposition
- Self Motivated and Entrepreneurial
- No less than one year in each previous position
- Strong references a must
- Bilingual a plus!
