DESCRIPTION

Highly regarded Michelin restaurant group based in San Francisco is seeking a passionate and experienced Pastry Sous Chef. Only serious culinary professionals need apply.

Candidate should come with excellent culinary pedigree and loyal tenures in recent positions. A strong background in high-level pastry production and plating is required for consideration and success. Must have leadership skills including managing, coaching, and team development. Focus, precision and a relentless pursuit of excellence is a must.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current experience in Pastry Sous Chef or lead pastry role
  • Strong background in fine dining
  • Michelin or James Beard experience preferred
  • Precise attention to detail with ability to replicate and teach recipes
  • Strong understanding of purchasing, ordering, costing, labor and vendor relations
  • Dynamic leadership qualities with ability to motivate and coach in a positive manner
  • Creativity and collaboration
  • Strong references and background check required
  • Bilingual a plus
