DESCRIPTION: 

New restaurant opening in Menlo Park! Traditional Italian cuisine featuring local farmers and produce to create an authentic Italian dining experience with a California neighborhood feel. We are seeking a General Manager that is a strong leader to provide guidance and coaching for our dining room team. The GM will be responsible for leading line-ups, providing support in the dining room during service, upholding and elevating our service standards and providing strong communication with the kitchen and private events team. This is a full service restaurant that prides itself on harnessing Italian culture, providing a true neighborhood experience through warm hospitality and generous spirit. Showing love for friends, family and community through food & wine is the heart of our brand and creates a fun and healthy work environment. Position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on authentic Italian cuisine & culture, fresh local produce and genuine hospitality
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health and safety
• Strong communication & organizational skills with precise attention to detail
• Strong team leadership & development skills
• Ability to hold others accountable for following company standards & procedures
• Participation in weekly manager meetings, financial oversight, scheduling and work towards cultivating a healthy team dynamic
• General Manager experience preferred
