Salary: $55000 – $60000
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible, but not limited to all operations of the kitchen on a daily basis. Our leaders coach, train, and inspire each other to deliver a genuine guest experience.
You will:
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Maintain operational control of purchasing, receiving, and inventory
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and follow the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
- Schedule labor as required by anticipating business activity and ensure labor cost goals are met
- Provide employees and staff with proper training and monitoring to maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization
- Monitor performance of staff
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of pizza/pasta experience
- Dedication to excellent food quality and ensuring compliance with all health and safety, and safe food handling practice
- Passion for food; should be bright, seasonal, and ingredients driven
- Experience in P&L review, budgetary controls, strict inventory and labor controls
- Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
- A flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required
