Position Summary: Seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead the Miami location. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and driving the restaurant's overall success. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to create a positive team culture will be instrumental in establishing the venue as a culinary destination of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house, to ensure smooth and efficient daily functioning.
  • Guest Experience: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of hospitality professionals, instilling a passion for excellence and a dedication to Hutong's brand values.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance the restaurant's visibility, attract new customers, and drive repeat business.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers, partners, and local communities to strengthen presence in Miami.
  • Innovation: Continuously explore new ideas and initiatives to enhance the restaurant's offerings and stay ahead of market trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior management position in a high-end, fine dining restaurant.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team to achieve common goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, food and beverage trends, and hospitality best practices.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills to drive profitability.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and a commitment to excellence.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a restaurant setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
