Creative, hospitality driven concept is seeking a GM for their new restaurant and market, nestled in the Litchfield Hills, this region is ripe with farmers markets, agricultural ventures and creative endeavors.
This is a creative opportunity to be a leader to bring their vision of ingredient driven, approachable upscale casual comfort food all in a charming background to life. This position will oversee the onsite restaurant as well as work with ownership to build out the market and general store concept next door.
The ideal candidate has exposure in an entrepreneurial driven environment and thrives in a collaborative and team oriented setting that would provide the right candidate with a long term home.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
âƒ Minimum 2 years of experience in full service restaurant management
âƒ Selecting and setting up the POS system
âƒ Detail oriented with a sense of urgency
âƒ Self-starter and problem solver
âƒ Clear and up-front communication
âƒ Foster a healthy and inspiring work environment for all members of staff
âƒ Opening and Closing managerial duties/administrative tasks
âƒ Experience with hiring, training, overseeing and setting schedules for FOH staff
âƒ Experience with budgeting and forecasting of finances,
âƒ Experience with ordering, inventory, costing, etc.
âƒ Troubleshoot challenging situations as they arise with grace and respect
âƒ Ability to lead a team and delegate responsibilities
âƒ Passion and appreciation for the hospitality industry
