Essential Functions and Duties:
The position of General Manager is an overall leadership position responsible for overall quality of guest experience, food & service, financial performance and maintenance of the property
and all staff within it.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
ï‚· Recruits, interviews, and hires.
ï‚· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
ï‚· Coach and mentor for other managers in the outlets.
What we are looking for:
ï‚· Creative input in all areas of service, products, and atmosphere; includes overseeing the implementation of service standards and training manuals for each position and each outlet.
ï‚· Front-of-House hiring, retention, and scheduling.
ï‚· Staff training, mentorship & development, and morale
ï‚· Development of training manuals, SOPs, and timelines
ï‚· Maintain standards of service to industry relevance, growth, profitability, and all-around quality
ï‚· Embody and model the leadership and accountability that you will hold your team to standard
ï‚· Establishment and execution of product cost, labor cost, and expense goals for all departments and outlets within the guidelines and assistance of the Executive Team
ï‚· Management development and creation of systems for hiring, reviews, mentorship and training of existing and new management to encourage company and personal growth in all hospitality skills: operations, floor management, administrative duties
and daily service.
ï‚· Overall building & equipment maintenance
ï‚· Bookkeeping and bill payment, understanding and ownership of the PnL; establish clear and consistent day-to-day communication of finances and performance with the Executive Team and partners.
ï‚· Creation of strong communication and teamwork with BOH chefs and hourly staff and Team via daily Avero notes, emails, and verbal communication.
ï‚· Create and sustain strong and meaningful professional relationship with
Partners
ï‚· Participate in and contribute to creative strategies to help grow the current business including programming and incentives to drive traffic.
ï‚· Capture and retain regular guests.
ï‚· Nurture the previous clientele and continue to create new connections in the local community.
ï‚· Maintenance of Restaurant to Company and  Pitkin County Health Department Standards
ï‚· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
ï‚· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ï‚· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
ï‚· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
ï‚· Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
ï‚· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
ï‚· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
ï‚· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite


Education and Experience:
ï‚· Four years progressive experience in high volume food production or catering
ï‚· At least 3 years previous high-level experience in a well-established restaurant
ï‚· Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience considered.
ï‚· Ability to work in high stress environment.
