FLOOR MANAGER
As a Floor Manager you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the restaurant and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain our unwavering commitment to outstanding food, beverage, and service quality, delivered in a friendly and timely manner.
- Foster a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, providing attentive, detail-oriented, and courteous service.
- Actively engage with guests to nurture loyalty and a sense of familiarity.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback with grace and positivity.
- Address any guest concerns or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local market and neighboring establishments.
- Conduct regular evaluations of service quality through audits and feedback analysis.
- Uphold consistent standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation within the establishment.
- Skillfully utilize basic computer applications and POS systems.
- Support the recruitment, training, and growth of a team dedicated to guest satisfaction.
- Establish clear accountability measures within the team.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Cultivate an environment of excellence, inspiring staff confidence and demonstrating strong leadership.
- Make well-informed decisions in urgent situations to safeguard the restaurant and the company.
- Collaborate on conducting quarterly performance evaluations for restaurant staff.
- Adhere to company guidelines for effective labor management.
- Contribute to achieving financial targets specific to your area of responsibility.
- Manage cash handling and reconciliation following company protocols.
- Oversee weekly inventory counts, monitor costs, and manage maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of current salaried management experience in a high-volume polished casual/upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant.
- A strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and exceptional guest service.
- Demonstrated ability in team development.
- Familiarity with systems, methods, and processes that contribute to exceptional execution.
- Solid leadership skills.
- Effective multitasking capabilities.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Cogswell, Toast, Resy, and OpenTable.
