DESCRIPTION:
Luxury brand is expanding and seeking an experienced opening Executive Chef for it’s
NYC-based members-only, luxury complex. This location will house two full-service
restaurant concepts, a large scale event venue, and 30 + luxury full service
office spaces within it’s 4,6000 sf space. The Executive Chef will collaborate with
ownership to create a culinary program for entire complex.

Technical Skills required: 
• A chef's chef with impeccable technique and deep foundational understanding of the
craft
• A passionate culinarian and hospitalitarian 
• A builder mindset to carry us through an opening (establishing standards, hiring,
training, refining)
• Events (banquets) experience a huge plus 
• Experience in selecting OSE and High standards of excellence (proven in a high
volume and relevant location or city)
• Wood burning oven and grill experience
• Marketability a plus
• Incredibly high standards with cleanliness, systems and organization 
• Collaborates with the beverage team on harmonious menu development 
• Engages with members, when needed, for activations or feedback loops
• Creates healthy cross-departmental collaboration 
• Menu development, costing, implementation, and refinement 
• Financial acumen, ability to read, diagnose and correct on a P&L

• Latin culinary Experience; Mediterranean experience a big plus as well.
• Experience with "healthy" cuisine including plant based and vegan options (a user
themselves)
• Student of the craft; reading, experimenting and refining; a reader and fan of the
industry
• Experience establishing technical and systems and POS platforms with menus and
transactional elements a big plus 
• Equally skilled in casual and rustic cuisine as they are in elevated experiences
• Opening experience in an independent environment 
Scheduled launch is set for Spring 2023, but this role will begin ASAP.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Culinary Degree preferred but not required
• 5+ years of Executive Chef experience with luxury hotel and/or Michelin-rated
restaurant group.
• Strong banquet and event experience.
• Menu and concept development experience
• Experience with new restaurant/hotel openings.
• Strong financial acumen
• Appreciation for music and art.
• Excellent references and loyal tenures.
