DESCRIPTION

Seeking a qualified Executive Chef to lead this New American restaurant in its flagship location. This position will focus heavily on systems management, cost controls, facilities oversight, health code compliance, training and development and quality control. Ideal candidate will have high volume experience in both independent and corporate restaurants. The Executive Chef will be responsible for a team of 3 Sous Chefs and a staff of 35 and must therefore be a strong team leader who effectively coaches, trains, and inspires each team member.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-5 years of CDC or Exec. Chef experience
  • Proficiency with Profit and Loss
  • Inventory control, menu, plate & labor costing
  • High volume & quality production experience
  • Always looking to improve and minimize waste
  • Deep understanding of health & hygiene regulations/food handling practices
  • Current Servsafe certificate
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Organized and comprehensive purchasing experience and local vendor relationships
  • Facilities maintenance
