Upscale restaurant group seeks Executive Chef to oversee kitchen for an elevated culinary driven restaurant in DC. Must have extensive Mediterranean, Greek cuisine experience, long tenures, and strong admin skills. Leadership skills with managing, coaching and motivating a team is a must. Strong recipe and menu development knowledge, with administrative skills including costing, inventory, scheduling, and labor. Quality control and recipe replication a must. CDCs welcome!
- Minimum 3 years’ as Exec. Chef of high volume ($7mm/500+ covers) dining concept
- Expert understanding of Hyper Chef-Driven Mediterranean cuisine with specialty in pasta
- Opening Experience is preferred
- Food cost optimization

- Food handlers certificate
- Ordering/inventory management
- Michelin star or James Beard Award winning experience preferred
