
Director of Operations | Miami
Reporting directly to ownership, this key role has oversight responsibility for the day-to-day operations, culture and financial performance of all Food & Beverage operations within company'sportfolio. This position requires exceptional leadership and vision, and the ideal candidate will
possess multi-unit experience within high-volume operations as well as a proven track record of successfully delivering on multiple objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Monitor and actively oversee the operations of all venues within the company's portfolio, working closely with each venue’s management team
• Participate in creating and developing successful Food & Beverage concepts
• Provide leadership to a small (five-person) corporate team, including our Creative Director and Beverage Director, ensuring that each area of responsibility has measurable objectives
• Work with departmental training to improve execution, consistency, service and presentation at each venue within the portfolio
• Alongside ownership and venue-level management, direct and oversee the financial success of all venues by taking ownership of Food & Beverage revenue goals, managing expenses, controlling labor costs and guest satisfaction scores
• Accountable for preparation, presentation and monitoring of annual operating budgets
and capital plans
• Create and manage pre-opening budgets for new openings
• Monitor budgets versus actual results, report variances to leadership and take all
necessary corrective actions to address variances
• Oversee menu development, i.e. restaurants, bars and banquets
• Oversee, maintain and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage Standard Operating Procedures to include the Employee Handbook, Food & Beverage cost controls, operational controls, sanitation, liquor control/laws, productivity and production
• Lead the development and implementation of Food & Beverage-related elements within the annual business plan and budget to include concept development, concept repositioning and branding efforts
• Conduct venue inspections to gauge operational performance, cleanliness, and adherence to brand, local and national regulations and requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focused attention on the guest experience
• Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing and mentoring both individuals and teams
• Ability to actively influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside of the organization
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to function under time constraints and deadlines with sharp attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of all disciplines within Food & Beverage operations, including but not limited to: branding-strategy implementation, sourcing, distribution, cost controls and
regulatory standards/compliance
• Ability to effectively achieve operational and finanical goals and objectives by implementing strategic and operational plans, budgets and best practices; monitoring and evaluating results
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
