Catering Head Chef – Tasting Menu

Salary: $80000 – $90000


Accoladed DC restaurant group seeking a Head Chef for fine dining catering operation. The Head Chef will oversee all catering culinary operations for restaurant group doing intimate seated dinners as well as full-scale events. Menus are pre-fixe. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has a real passion for making other people happy. 


  • At least 5 years of BOH management experience with at least 3 years at the Executive Chef or CDC level cooking in notable kitchen of equal rank – Michelin/ James Beard
  • Guest centric philosophy and genuine desire to make people happy
  • Strong leadership and coaching experience
  • Must be highly organized and meticulous
  • Must be highly proficient with food costing, P&L, budgets and building forecasts
  • Exceptional cooking abilities; execution at high level
  • Must possess a positive attitude with the ability to be a strong mentor for staff
