Experiential F&B group is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join the team for their DC location. Relevant management experience with notable, upscale, full service restaurant groups, hotel groups is preferred. Great opportunity for a hospitality professional to grow within a fun event oriented expanding food and beverage concept. Ideal candidate has a 5 plus years of experience in a management role with a high volume and quality cocktail program. With an overriding focus on team and guest experience the Bar Manager balances operational excellence, commercial acumen, safety compliance and a developing display of emotional intelligence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role within high volume, quality cocktail bar/venue
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Food handling certification
• Extensive bar & cocktail knowledge
• Strong leadership & communication skills
• Excellent communication at all levels
• Strong leadership ability
• Strong financial acumen
• The ability to manage under pressure and make decisions in real time
• The experience to operate at a high level under the direction of the management team
• The ability to manage multiple operational and managerial tasks simultaneously
• Personal maturity to deal with confidential information and/or issues with discretion and sound judgment
