AGM for high end beloved NYC restaurant with great leadership.
The AGM is responsible for supervising and directing the activities of the staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience through prompt and polite service.
Interview, hire, train, and schedule employees while upholding safety standards
Maintain the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. This includes monitoring budgets, inventory, and payroll.
Engage customers in positive dialogue to ensure return business and take and resolve any complaints from them.
Assist head chefs in planning and coordinating restaurant menus keeping trend and competition information in mind.
Assist senior leaders in developing and implementing core business and marketing plans.
Perform restaurant opening and closing activities and organize management of repair and maintenance issues.
Make-certain that all fire, safety, and health regulations regarding food preparation and serving are adhered to on a constant basis.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar managerial position with exceptional customer service skills. They must also possess acute financial/business management skills. Strong leadership skills required.
