DESCRIPTION:
Fun and growing Italian concept seeks an Assistant General Manager of their downtown location. As AGM, you will be supporting the General Manager in leading and managing the daily operations. This is a hands on, fun and casual dining environment that has deep roots in hospitality! Your position will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of operations and upholding our brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with the GM to manage and oversee restaurant operations
- Supporting staff in delivering superior guest service
- Intuitive communication in order to ensure guest satisfaction
- Responding efficiently and tactfully to guests’ questions and concerns
- Scheduling
- Managing and leading staff
- Training and evaluating staff performance
- Managing restaurant supplies
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Working with the GM to implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
- Culture-development
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in Restaurants and Hospitality
- High volume experience is a plus
- Knowledge & understanding of restaurant financials
- Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities
- Self-motivated and strong desire to grow within Hospitality
- Guest-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
